Tanzania, especially the West, is truly a wilderness experience! There are no resident people in the area, and the wildness is very apparent.
Spear Safaris has partnered with Mcullum Safaris in the South West of Tanzania. The renowned Lukwati / Chunya/Msami blocks form part of the area that encompasses 4 adjoining, 2 000 00 acres in Hunting blocks. This makes for a massive and diverse area, producing excellent quality on Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Sable and Roan to mention just a few species. The concession presents some excellent, old Africa style hunting, in a setting of Luxurious tent style camps. This is one of the premier hunting companies in all of Tanzania, with no compromises in quality of equipment or back up services. Hunting commences on 1 July where weather will be very pleasant, but could still be slightly wet with long grass.
Serengeti tours can also be arranged before and/or after your safari. We can also offer Hunting in Masai-land for the Typical Masai species, as an add on to your Big Game hunt.
