Shamwari Safaris is primarily situated alongside the Zambezi River and escarpment, at the confluence of the Luangwa and Zambezi River’s. With vegetation being typically Mopani woodland and thick Jesse bush. The area is mountainous and the hunting is challenging and VERY exciting.
We also have access to other prime areas within Zambia, including South Luangwa, Bangweulu Swamps and Kafue GMA’s. Steven is committed to both ethical hunting and ensuring that the client’s needs are exceeded on each and every safari.
Our hunting safaris are led by Steven Rufus, who has both a wealth of experience and passion for the African Bush.
Shamwari Safaris prides itself on offering exceptional client experience. From history of each of the different areas, to flora and fauna, our hunts are always enjoyable and most importantly safe.
We don’t compromise on ethics and are very well known for our fair chase principles. All the game is free roaming which makes it both challenging and exciting for the purist hunter.
