We offer a hunt out of the ordinary, Mountain Lion, Puma or Cougar, and if you do not get your lion in 6 days, come hunt for another 6 days next season for free.
The hunt takes place in Utah or Nevada. You fly down to Salt Lake City where our partner will meet you at the airport and drive you to the camp where you will stay during your stay.
A typical hunting day takes place in that it is up early approx. 0500. Then have breakfast at the lodge, before going out and checking for clues. When fresh tracks are found, the dogs are released and then the job begins. You stay on all day, but if fresh traces are not found, you normally end the day around 16.00, but can continue until it gets dark. It is a great advantage if you are in reasonable physical shape, as it can be long days with a lot of walking. The dogs are equipped with gps collars, and when the dogs get the lion up in a tree, the work of getting inside begins.
The season starts in mid-November and runs until the end of March.
Our partner Brady in Lonetree outfitters knows the mountains around Salt Lake City, and can also offer Black bear, Muledeer and Elk hunting.
And for a little entertainment, Las Vegas is only a 5 hour drive away, why not end your trip there.
